"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:" 1 Thessalonians 4:16 KJV. The scripture that you just read is perhaps one of the most powerful statement in the Bible. The scripture talks about the return of Jesus Christ in which every eye will see Him. "Look! He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen" Revelation 1:7. Through out the Bible you will discover that the return of Jesus Christ is eminent . In the book of Genesis, you'll find this prophetic statement about the coming Jesus, to set at liberty mankind and remove us from the power of sin and death. "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel" Gen. 3:15. Now, my friends, there is therefore not any condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. The book of Romans tells us that "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:" Rom. 8:1-3. What a beautiful hope for those of us who believe in Jesus Christ. I pray that everyone who reads this, will take hold of the hope in Jesus Christ, so that if by chance you're living or dead you will be taken up when He RETURNS. Finally, the word of God tells us, that He, Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords! He's our everything! The Book of Revelations tells us "Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He wasclothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: "
KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS.
