The word "Rapture" is not found in the bible, yet it is one of the greatest hopes in the Christian Faith. The word "Rapture" comes from the Greek word "Harpazo" which means to "catch up" or "carry away." The word "Harpazo" occurs over fourteen times in the New Testament scripture (Matt, 11:12, 12:29, 13:19,...Rev 12:5), contributing to our understanding or lack there of, when we talk about being Raptured or taken Away. I will not debate or argue this text which is what the enemy would have believers do. We've allowed ourselves to be taken captive by various doctrinal belief, relating to when Jesus will return, when all Jesus requires for the believing church is to be READY! The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-81 this "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." The WORD OF GOD, should provide comfort to the believer, not debates or argument one to establish him or herself as one to be listen to or regarding as notes scholar of The WORD OF GOD! If you don't believe anything else, in regards to the Rapture, just know JESUS IS COMING BACK!
